Onbekende HTC One tablet gespot (update)

Naast de high-end smartphone HTC One en de nog onaangekondigde phablet One Max lijkt er nu ook een tablet op komst te zijn. Zo hebben we vandaag de hand weten te leggen op een foto waarbij vermoedelijk een nieuwe tablet van HTC wordt getoond. Het heeft duidelijk de look van haar huidige vlaggenschip – de One – weer, net als de One Max en Mini, maar is meer vierkant gevormd. Beide toestellen zijn nu verkrijgbaar in Nederland. Liever los kopen? Sluit dan een sim only abonnement af.

Het scherm staat op zwart en het is dus moeilijk te zien in hoeverre het scherm doorloopt tot aan de rand, om zo een inschatting te kunnen maken van de grootte van de display. Maar wij verwachten – afgaand op de foto – een afmeting van tussen de 8 en 10 inch.

Update: Chinese clone

Unfortunately, it’s not a new HTC One tablet, but a Chinese clone with the name Ramos K1 with a 7,9 inch display.

In addition to the high-end smartphone HTC One and unannounced phablet One Max, a new tablet is pictured. It clearly has the look of its current flagship – the One – again, like the One Max and One Mini, but is squarer shaped.

The screen is on black and it is therefore difficult to see how the screen extends to the edge, to estimate the size of the display. But we expect – judging by the picture – a size of between 8 and 10 inches.

The photo looks legit, because it has no signs of editing. Furthermore, if we open up the brightness on the image, you can clearly see the person who has taken this photo. You can see both images below:
